ISO ramping failure

I tried to ISO ramp this test w a 3-stop filter on (see video below)….. ran out of ISO real quick and had to call it off early  (not to mention missing the best part of tonight’s sky which was actually really nice) #fail #nopainnogain

    • “ramping” in general is more easily described as… “making the image brighter, as the ambient light gets darker”, so that the video doesn’t go black and you can see the transition from before sunset to after. (this is known as the ‘holy grail’ of time lapse.)

      There are a few ways to make your image brighter in photography terms:
      – ISO (light sensitivity)
      – Exposure time
      – Aperture
